Vancouver Giants will suit up as Stormtroopers on Star Wars night

The Vancouver Giants have unveiled their new uniforms for a special Star Wars-themed game on December 4. Better yet, proceeds from the game will go to the local Shriners Hospital for Children. 

“We’re thrilled that we will be able to host this great event for our fans while also benefitting a very worthy cause,” said Giants Vice President, Business Development Dale Saip. “The Shriners Hospitals help children around the world, and it’s an honour for our hockey club to be able to work with the Shriners to help kids in our province.”

Star Wars Night will also feature appearances by characters from the "Star Wars" movie franchise at the game in addition to the special themed jerseys, the Giants' website announced.
