Avangard Omsk won the Barys Astana in Kazakhstan on Wednesday, 4-3 and tied the match wins on the play-off series to 2-2. The show was stolen by the Omsk coach Raimo Summanen who completely lost his temper. Summanen heated up to refs in the first period. He took a players stick and waved it threateningly in the direction of the referees. Summanen obviously wanted to demonstrate to the refs how the stick should not be used.
This is not the first time in this season, when Summanen has lost his temper. In the autumn, he challenged Moscow Dynamo coach Harijs VĪTOLIŅŠ to brawl in a locker room hallway. Then he received 5,000€ in fines.
